Birth Date Scores and Age Gaps Explained
Separate the calendar facts from the game percentage, with simple date examples.
Enter two full birth dates for a game percentage, total calendar days apart, and an age interval. The date facts are separate from the playful score.
Choose each person's full birth date, including the year, then select Calculate Birth Date Compatibility. You do not need names, birth times, or locations. The result includes a game percentage, the total days apart, and an age difference in years, months, and days.
We count the absolute calendar days between the two dates. The score is 60 plus the remainder when that count is divided by 41, giving a result from 60% to 100%. For example, January 1 and January 11, 2000, are 10 days apart and score 70%. Reversing the dates gives the same result.
Leap days are included. Dates are treated as calendar dates in UTC, so daylight saving time does not change the count. The age gap is the calendar interval from the earlier birth date to the later one. Our birthday compatibility guide explains the difference between that interval and two people's current ages.
February 28 to March 1, 2024, spans two days, so the game gives 62%. The same month and day choices in 2023 span one day and give 61%. The extra day changes the arithmetic; it does not reveal a difference in anyone's feelings.
The day count describes the dates you entered. The percentage is a repeating number game, with no scientific or astrological predictive meaning. Identical birth dates score 60%; that is a property of the formula, not a judgment about a couple.
A 40-day gap reaches 100%, then a 41-day gap returns to 60%. There is no best age gap hidden in that reset. Keep the day count and calendar interval if they answer your question; leave the percentage as entertainment.
For a different kind of comparison, the zodiac compatibility calculator uses selected signs. The love language test focuses on your own preferences for receiving care.
Yes. We compare full dates, not just the month and day. Two people born on June 15 in different years will have a day count and score based on the entire interval.
No. It does not add the digits of your birthday or calculate life path numbers. Its percentage comes only from the days between the dates.
The percentage repeats every 41 days of separation. Dates 1 day apart and dates 42 days apart both score 61%, even though their calendar intervals differ.
No. A birthday score cannot assess trust, shared values, or how you treat each other. Use the result as an icebreaker, not a reason to start or end a relationship.
